Working on my van's A/C, saved $1100 dollars, for 11 hours of work. 

Nothing ends a great Men's Retreat weekend of fishing and fellowship, then heading home and spinning the number 1 rod bearing on your truck 15 miles from camp, and another 75 miles to go.

$10k new truck.  Or.

$1.7k to fix old truck. Rebuilt motor, rebuild front end and front differential. New A/C parts, and a used dashboard.  Three weeks later, My new (used) truck.  Started on the first try.  I was even impressed.
